One of JB's earliest influences in gospel music was watching "Singing Jubilee" on Sunday mornings before being whisked off to Sunday school and church. From the deep, rich, low tones to the smooth high range, he has been called a "bass-tenor" by some. The clown of the group, you never know what he may say or do, but rest assured it's all in good fun. Always pushing the group to the edge, he admits he's a perfectionist, but adds "When I sing, it's for God's glory. And I just can't do anything but the best for Him." Born and raised in Canton, GA, he has come back home to sing and you'll be glad he did when you hear him. |

You've heard of people that have music in their genes. This statement is 100% true with Susan Tippens. Born in Canton, GA and youngest child of legendary Southern Gospel singer/songwriter/pianist Lee Roy Abernathy, her warm, smooth harmonies flow so effortlessly that you just know she was born to sing. Her impish smile and dry sense of humor fit in with this group perfectly. And when she sings, you know it's sent straight from heaven to her heart to be shared with you. |

Originally from Guntersville, Alabama, Jim Benton is one of the most talented piano players you'll have the pleasure to hear. Jim joined the group in the winter of 2008 and has been a very welcome addition. his talents extend beyond the keyboard to include vocal coaching and sound production. Be it a word of praise for a good job or a swift kick in the pants for a bad one, we can always count on Jim to give us an honest, informed opinion and the direction to make us a better group. |
